Lilli Voelker, Dietary Aide at Kingston Residence of Ft. Wayne, was recently featured in The Journal Gazette for being part of the Quarter Century Club, which honors employees who have worked 25 years at their organization. Lilli states her age is “39 again! (Actually, 73 if you must know.)” She started with Kingston in 1993 in dietary and cross-trained to be a certified nursing assistant. Why has she stayed at KRFW so long? “I love our residents! We also have wonderful management and my coworkers are amazing. Employees are the heart of any business.” Lilli is a phenomenal individual who is committed to setting an example for others to follow by working hard, encouraging everyone to be their best and having fun. Her special touches with menu items always wows the residents. She goes the extra mile to create a satisfying dining experience that makes our residents smile. Her interests outside of work include anything relating to animals, photography, creating greeting cards and her grandchildren. When asked how many years until she is ready to retire, Lilli responded, “Just taking it one day at a time.”
