Primary Accountabilities:

-Serves as the primary initial contact person to facility managers and processor with regard to Workers Compensation and Unemployment claims, and FMLA applications.

-Organizes and maintains claim and insurance policy files, ensures the timely and accurate reporting of all workers compensation claims, FMLA and unemployment claims.

-Insurance Coordination: Provides general support to the completion of commercial insurance applications, including gathering and compiling information required. Answers routine questions from business units relating to insurance coverages. Manages internal requests for certificates of insurance. Coordinates broker activities and serves as a liaison between broker and business units we serve. Regularly meets with brokers and participates in annual policy renewals. Coordinates all aspects of workers comp self-insurance authorities with state regulators.

-Participates in the auditing, development and deployment of Risk Management policies and procedures.

-Performs administrative duties for SVP of Risk Management, including documentation of policies and processes, fielding and routing inquiries, editing documents and creating presentations.

-Serves as Admin. for our self insured health plan.

Key Qualifications:

-3-5 years experience

-Education: Associate s degree in related field

-A solid technical insurance and risk management background

-Infor competence and health insurance administration, 401k.

-Excellent written and oral communication skills

-Excellent presentation skills

-Analytical experience in performance based and results oriented setting
