We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at an Assisted Living Community in beautiful Santa Fe, NM. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and contribute to their overall well-being. This position offers a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans, while promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
Assess, monitor, and document residents' physical and emotional health status, and promptly communicate any changes to the appropriate team members.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans, incorporating resident preferences and goals.
Foster a compassionate and respectful atmosphere for residents, their families, and fellow team members.
Educate residents and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse RN license in the state of New Mexico.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in an assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric care setting.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with residents and their families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of applicable regulations and best practices in assisted living and geriatric nursing.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
