Key Qualifications and Duties:

Your focus will be to develop and manage leads in primary referral hospitals and ensure a smooth transition for residents transitioning from hospital to Kingston. The Hospital Liaison facilitates both the hospital discharge and the Kingston admission process by obtaining required clinical and financial records; by facilitating transfer logistics and by serving as an information resource, advocate and problem solver to discharge planners, potential residents and family members. Must have:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to develop, maintain and effectively manage a personal professional network Understanding of healthcare services, sales and marketing
• Organization, passion and integrity
• RN, LPN or LSW preferred. Will consider other education background in combination with direct relevant past experience.                       
• 2 years of experience with sales and marketing in a health care environment or proven aptitude in sales and marketing.                        
• Prior experience with insurance pre-certification, case management, and/or utilization management highly preferred.
