Regional Recruiter

As a Regional Recruiter, you'll play an instrumental role in Kingston s mission to provide unrivaled care to our residents at our 3 Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities in Fort Wayne.

Kingston s recruiters enjoy a uniquely specialized role that focuses on 1) recruiting to filling aide and nurse openings, 2) overseeing 4-5 buildings in a market and 3) handing off leads to hiring managers once interviews have been scheduled.

Primary Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Maintains daily contact and strong relationships with HR teams and hiring managers in each building
  • Proactively builds and maintains pipeline of candidates for nursing positions
  • Monitors competitive landscape and job descriptions to develop job advertisement strategies appropriate for recruiting and retaining top talent
  • Sets and manages realistic expectations with hiring managers, while meeting and exceeding recruiting benchmarks and metrics
  • Uses a variety of sourcing resources including: job boards, recruitment databases, employee referrals, networking, hiring events
  • Captures leads by responding to candidates within 15 minutes of application, including morning and evening hours.
  • Screens candidates for qualifications, salary expectations, interest level, and interview availability. Coordinates interviews with hiring manager and hiring team.
  • Engages with candidates as a single point of contact through scheduling interviews, promoting a positive candidate experience
  • Monitors and makes recommendations to improve the applicant experience and Kingston s hiring strategies
  • Tracks and manages all leads in Infor
  • Provides logistical support to hiring events, assisting in setting up and/or attending job fairs and hiring events
  • Regular travel to 4-5 buildings in local market within a 25 miles radius, typically on a weekly basis

Employment Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree; Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a Related field

Minimum Qualifications:

Use of staffing tools such as applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media (CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.). Basic level of understanding of HR concepts, policies and procedures - EEO laws and others related to recruitment. Basic understanding of general labor market conditions and healthcare workforce. Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast paced, results-oriented work environment. Previous applicant tracking system experience with Infor preferred.

Excellent time management skills, adapts easy to change. Ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment with capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities. Effective problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong influencer. Ability to use good judgment and maintain confidentiality. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities. Basic negotiation skills.
