July 21, 2020
We’re eagerly planning for our residents to safely reunite with their families through secure outdoor visitation. The Director’s Order to Limit Access to Ohio’s Nursing Homes and Similar Facilities sets forth several guidelines for consideration prior to allowing outdoor visitation on or after July 20, 2020.
· Case status in surrounding community;
· Case status in the home(s);
· Staffing levels;
· Access to adequate testing for residents and staff;
· Personal protective equipment supplies; and Local hospital capacity.
We are closely monitoring the prevalence of community spread in Montgomery county which is currently classified as Level 3 Public Emergency: very high exposure and spread.
More details on this classification and updated status can be accessed at https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/public-health-advisory-system/.
We have made the difficult decision to delay outdoor visitation at Kingston of Miamisburg until the first week of August as we continue to monitor the community spread risk in our county.
More details on scheduling and guidelines for the outdoor visitation will be provided over the next few weeks. Our primary goal continues to be to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. We encourage you to continue to stay connected with your loved one through window visits, phone calls, FaceTime, etc.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our building.
Thank you, Kara Jones, LNHA
