Updated Visitor Guidelines 3/24/22

All Visitors are required to complete screening upon arrival to the facility.

CORE Principles of Infection Control

DO NOT VISIT if:

• you have any signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., temperature of 100 degrees or higher, symptoms of a cold, cough, shortness of breath, or temporarily lost your sense of taste or smell, nausea/vomiting or diarrhea)

• you have had close contact with someone with COVID-19 infection in the prior 10 days (regardless of the visitor’s vaccination status)

Facemask: Should be worn at all times throughout the facility. Residents, regardless of vaccination status, can choose not to wear face masks when other residents are not present and have close contact (including touch) with their visitors.

Hand hygiene should be performed by the patient/resident and the visitors before and after contact.

Socially Distanc
e: ALL Visitors should socially distance (maintaining at least 6 feet between people) from other patients/residents, visitors that are not part of their group, and facility employees.

Visits with Residents in Quarantine: Visits with residents in quarantine/transmission-based precautions will require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as facemask, gown and gloves when visiting the resident. You will be given the appropriate PPE, assisted to the room, and to put on PPE.

• Put PPE on before entering room
• Do not wear PPE out of the room
• Remove before leaving room
• Maintain Social Distancing throughout visit
