Mark Waschak had an unfortunate injury that caused him to lose several of the freedoms and enjoyments that he used to know. Frustrated and motivated to improve his independence, Mark decided to go to Kingston for rehabilitation. His goal was simple, to be able to go home and enjoy life again with his wife Vivan. Mark, along with a team of nursing and therapy professionals worked tirelessly and collaboratively. In September of 2019, Mark achieved that goal and graduated from inpatient therapy and returned home with some exciting results. Mark is now excited to start outpatient therapy with his favorite Physical and Occupational Therapists at Kingston! Mark said, "I'm so excited, it was great to work with many of the therapists, including Dana (Physical Therapist) because it's not just one person's impact on your care, but the entire team to make it a success."
