The first day I walked into Kingston, I fell in love and wanted to work here. When I came in for an interview, the staff was so friendly. Everyone was smiling, joking with each other and the residents. The staff was so friendly and looked like they enjoyed their job.
My grandmother had been to 3 or 4 other places and I always dreaded going there. It was depressing. It's not that way at all at Kingston. You could tell people enjoyed what they were doing. From the friendly housekeeping workers to the executive director, everyone seemed to work as a team. The staff seemed to truly love the residents and care about them. Seven years later, I still love my job and being here at Kingston.
For the last few years, Kingston of Marion has won the best of Marion's Favorite place to live and work. I sincerely love being here at Kingston and it doesn't seem like just a place of employment. It's like being with family every day. I love the fact that the company appreciates their employees and goes above and beyond to show us that. It starts from the top and continues down to everyone. I feel like I found my home here at Kingston!!
